The A8 Star comes in a Polycarbonate body, it has glass at the front and back and also metal on the sides which gives it a premium feel. It also has an Infinity display with small bezels, no notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that’s placed higher than it should be.

While the A7 2018 is made of Aluminum Alloy and it has a fingerprint sensor at the side with the triple rear camera in the same position as the dual cam on the A8 Star. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star weighs 191g while the A7 2018 weighs less at 168g.

While the A7 2018 houses the Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7885 chipset with octa-core processor clocking at 2.2GHz. In the RAM department the A7 2018 has 4GB/6GB and 128GB/64GB storage space.
