Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 has been introduced as well, this is coming just hours after we saw the Galaxy J6 Plus with dual rear camera. Well, the Galaxy A7 2018 comes with triple rear camera and it’s the first Samsung smartphone with such feature. It looks like the Huawei P20 Pro now has an affordable competitor.
Design
The Galaxy A7 2018 sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody. The first thing we noticed at the back is the triple rear camera in a vertical position at the top left corner. The fingerprint scanner has been moved to the side as well. It will be available in Black, blue, gold and pink colors, while measuring 7.5mm in thickness and weighing 168g.
Display
The phone is built around a 6-inch Super AMOLED 18:9 full screen display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2220 pixels in resolution along with a 411 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 74.69% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Exynos 7 Octa 7885 chipset from Samsung runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB/128GB internal storage space variants which are not expandable. It has 4GB/6GB RAM space variants as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with triple 24MP + 8MP + 5MP shooters for photography and accompanied with other internal features listed in the table below. While for selfies, it sports a 24MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3300mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
