The Kryo 460 Architecture is the 4th Generation of Qualcomm’s Semi-Custom Kryo Cores. The Kryo 460 architecture is derived from ARM’s Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 designs.

The upgraded Kryo 460 gold and silver CPU provides a 20% boost in overall performance from the previous generation – empowering more efficient multitasking and powerful gaming experience.

While the high-performance cluster is clocked at 2.0 GHz, the other clustet runs at 1.7 GHz. The workload is balanced between 8 cores, there are six efficiency cores for everyday interactions and two high performance cores, so at the end of the day, you can win every level, perhaps even on just one single charge.

Process Technology (nm)

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 chip is manufactured by Samsung using their new 11nm LPP FinFET Process. Samsung’s 11nm Process has similar power efficiency as their 14nm Node but it delivers 15% higher performance.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Graphics

The SoC incorporates the new Adreno 612 Graphics Processor that can support a maximum Display of FHD+. Adreno 612 performs better than Adreno 512 in the Snapdragon 660.

Performance

The chip also embeds Qualcomm’s latest technology such as; Hexagon 685 DSP, Hexagon Vector Processor and All-Ways Aware technology.

In its Memory capacity, it has a Dual-Channel LPDDR4x RAM configuration, the latest Qualcomm Quickcharge 4+ technology is also supported by this SOC.

Images offer better view with the Spectra 250L Image Sensor Processor which support a 48 Megapixel Camera without pixel binning.

Connectivity

It supports the Qualcomm’s X12 LTE Modem that has Dual 4G VoLTE and can deliver maximum download speeds up to 600 Mbps and 150Mbps uploads. The latest Bluetooth 5.0 is also supported.

Benchmarks (AnTuTu)

Over at AnTuTu, specifically on the version 6, the chip reaches a low of 174012, avg of 180206, median of 181971 and max points of 182870.
