Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SD435 was announced in 2026 as an ARM based low-end SoC designed and equipped for Android devices. As stated above, the chip was announced in 2016 and started powering budget-friendly smartphones. Built on the newer 64&bit architecture, the chip consists of eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocks up to 1.4 GHz.
At this clock rate, it can provide premium processing performance for budget-friendly devices depending on the actual task. The difference between the chip and the Snapdragon 430 isn’t much, but it’s worthy to note that the latter doesn’t come with a faster LTE connection like the 435.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SD435 Processor
The chip utilizes the power of eight 64-Bit Cortex-A53 CPU cores fitted with dual-channel LPDDR3 memory controller which clocks at 800MHz. This can as well be considered as the memory speed, helping the RAM space to achieve its goal.
It’s also designed with an integrated X9 LTE modem, which supports Cat. 4 and provides a maximum transfer rates of 300 Mbps (downstream) and 100 Mbps (upstream). There’s also support for LTE dual SIM (DSDS), Multi-threaded, high performance in mid-tier devices. Lets not forget the advanced Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO and 5.1 surround sound with Dolby and DTS. Its dual ISP is also designed to support 21MP camera.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SD435 Graphics
The chip is powered by the upper tier Adreno 505 which provides support for HD visual experience and a 1080p at 60 frames per second ensuring and display high quality videos. This is regarded as one of the best graphics processor in the budget segment.
Process Technology (nm)
However, it was designed on the 28nm process technology which is not that power efficient compared to modern day chips with 10nm or even 7nm.
Benchmarks (AnTuTu)
The SD435 has a fairly low rating across several benchmarks. According to AnTuTu v6, it has a minimum score of 42643, maximum 46814 Points, average 44705.4 points and a median 44895.5 (16%).
