MediaTek MT6737 Review, Phones, Specs and Benchmarks

MediaTek MT6737 is a budget-friendly system on chip that was introduced in 2016 by MediaTek. The chip integrates a 64-bit architecture and was designed mainly for low-end Android smartphones. It uses four CPU cores to get the job done and is mostly found in devices.

Processor

MediaTek MT6737

The chip boasts of a memory speed of 640MHz, this helps the RAM space available on the device in terms of multitasking. The MT6737 can handle up to 4GB RAM and 13MP camera. It supports 4G LTE (Cat 4) and allows for 1080p videos to be played at 30fps. It uses a Cortex-A53 architecture and clocks up to 1.35GHz tops for the best performance.

Process Technology

The SoC was built on an older 28nm process technology. This might be a little disappointing compared to the latest process node seen on latest smartphones in terms of power efficiency.

Graphics

The Mali-T720 from ARM reigns supreme in terms of Graphics. It comes with a single core, while clocking up to 550-650 MHz. This should be more than enough to handle most Android light games.

Benchmarks: AnTuTu

On Benchmarks, specifically on AnTuTu, the Chipset reaches a low of 27972.3 points, an average of 29237 points and 41273 points as its peak.
