BQ Mobile BQ-5002G Fun has been introduced as the latest affordable smartphone from BQ Mobile in Russia. The BQ-5002G Fun was introduced alongside the BQ-5520L Silk and targets first time users and those on a very tight budget. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box ensuring smooth running of light apps.
Design
The device has a plastic body and looks absolutely stunning and beautiful as well. There’s a rear camera and LED flash at the top left corner in a horizontal position as well. It weighs 150g overall and will be available in Gold, Gray, Black, Red and Green colors.
Display
The smartphone sports a 5-inch standard display. The screen boasts of 480 x 854 pixels in resolution along with a 196 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 67% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. Under the hood, the SC7731E chipset from Spreadtrum runs the race, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 4GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 64GB using a memory card. It boasts of just 512MB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The BQ Mobile BQ-5002G Fun features a 5MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s a 2MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the BQ-5002G Fun is a 2000mAh battery capacity but with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2 hours.
