Soda Fire has been launched in Egypt and is already available on shopping stores. The new Fire smartphone sports a full view display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition just like Fero Vibe and Symphony V145. The device targets those on a budget with just 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage space. Lets find out more.
Design
The phone has a combination of Metal and Plastic rear making it really stunning for a budget smartphone. The rear camera starts a train on top, while the fingerprint scanner follows closely underneath. It measures 8.8mm in thickness and will be available in Black, Blue and Gold colors as well.
Display
The new Soda Fire smartphone sports a 5.34-inch FW+ TN full view display. The screen boasts of 480 x 960 pixels in resolution along with a 201 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 75% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek runs the race, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 8GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Fire mobile phone is equipped with a single 5MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s another 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Soda Fire is a 2300mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.4 hours.
