Doogee S80 Lite has officially found its way to shopping stores. It’s the higher variant of the Doogee S80 smartphone we reviewed weeks ago. The S80 Lite is a Walkie Talkie Android device with IP69K Certifications, the highest rating in the world in terms of rigidity. The device can survive for up to 1 hour underwater, it’s powered by the Helio P23 chipset and a massive 10,080mAh battery. The device reminds us of the Doogee S55 Lite, Doogee S70 Lite, Doogee X70 and Doogee BL5500 Lite.
Design
The S80 Lite is built with Metal and Aluminium alloy. It has a fingerprint scanner which sits underneath the dual rear shooters and the LED flash above. It’s also water and dust resistant thanks to the IP69K rating. This smartphone measures 13.6mm slim and weighs a massive 278g. It’s available in Black and Orange mix color as well.
Display
The phone sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 65.46% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Under the hood, the Helio P23 chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Doogee S80 Lite is equipped with dual 13MP + 8MP rear shooters for photography. The camera is accompanied by a dual-LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Doogee S80 Lite is a massive 10080mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
