Coolpad Note 8 has been launched by Coolpad after we were pretty much anticipating a Note 7. Nonetheless, the Note 8 is the successor to the Coolpad Note 6 which was introduced months ago with dual selfie camera. The Coolpad Note 8 comes with dual rear camera just like the Coolpad Cool Play 7C and Coolpad Cool Play 7. There’s the trendy Face Unlock feature, full view display and a massive battery capacity. Design
The new Note smartphone sports a Plastic back with Metal frame. The dual rear camera is seen in a vertical position at the top middle with the fingerprint scanner underneath. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 185g overall, it’s only available in Black colour as well.
Display
The Note 8 sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD 18:9 full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 84.85% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6750T chipset from MediaTek runs the race, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Note 8 is equipped with dual 16MP + 2MP rear shooters for photography. The camera is accompanied by a dual-LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Note 8 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
