Doogee has introduced the Doogee Y8 Plus an upgrade to the Y8 smartphone which has been trending on shopping stores for a while. Following the success of the first Y8 device, the Y8 Plus brings some new configurations on board.
For starters, it ships with a bigger 32GB Internal storage space, while retaining the 3GB RAM. The phone is now available in a gradient Purple colour adding to the previous Blue and Black colours. Unfortunately, the Green colour on the Y8 is missing.
Nonetheless, it runs on Android 9 Pie, and comes with a much bigger 4000mAh battery. It sports dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera, 8MP selfie shooter with 80° wide angle lens. There’s support for Face Unlock and a rear fingerprint scanner.
For an hassle-free performance on a budget, the device is powered by the Helio A22 Quad-core chip clocking at 2.0GHz with AI. The Plus version now supports NFC for mobile payments, USB type-C. Price starts at $99.
