iTel has just teased the upcoming Alpha and Hero smartphones ahead of their official unveiling. The company teased not one, but two of their upcoming smartphones, although this could be just one device with two promotional names.
The iTel Alpha (it might be Alpha “something”) will obviously come with dual rear camera and a rear fingerprint scanner, going by the image on that poster. According to a reliable source, the phone is expected to come with a notch just like the Infinix Hot 7.
The source also revealed some expected specs, the device should be built around a 5.7-inch 19:9 HD+ display. The dual rear camera will be a 13MP + 5MP shooters, with an 8MP selfie camera. This is the exact same camera configurations on the Doogee Y8 Plus.
Speaking of the Y8 Plus, the “iTel Alpha” should be powered by the MediaTek MT6762M chip (unconfirmed) with quad-core processor clocking at 2.0GHz. It will run on Android 9 Pie immediately at launch. The battery capacity is expected to be as big as 3500mAh and it should have a Plus variant with up to 32GB and 3GB RAM.
The iTel Hero isn’t left out in the rumour mill, however, the specifications is even more blurry than the poster. Nonetheless, it’s expected to come with “totally bezel-less display” with no notch whatsoever, or maybe a “waterdrop” notch perhaps. The full details of both devices will be unveiled later this month at launch.
