About a month ago, we reported that popular businessman and CEO somehow hinted that he owns up to $5000 BTC, today we’re pleased to tell you that another businessman man has commented on cryptocurrency. Elon Musk, who is a popular investor and one of the investors of Tesla has revealed what his favorite crypto coin is. Perhaps you guessed right, it is Dogecoin.
Dogecoin derived its name from a popular dog specie and was initially created as a “joke” coin around 2013, but today, it’s one of the top 10 most valuable coins. Musk made this obvious in a comment of his on twitter on a poll created by Dogecoin to find a CEO for the project.
Musk won the poll by 54% beating the Metal Pay CEO, Marshall Hayner who had 33% of the votes. Other contenders were Vitalik Buterin who had 9% votes and Charlie Lee of Litecoin who had 8% votes.
Founder of Dogecoin, Jackson Palmer had earlier mocked Musk by saying he wants to sell the business now that he’s attracted $5 billion in funds. With this, he’s referring to the dealing of Musk with Tesla. Musk made a controversial social media post last year that forced the SEC to sue Tesla.
