Vivo Z1 Youth Edition has officially been listed for sale signifying its official introduction. The device is the watered-down variant of the Z1i with a few downgrades here and there. This is coming after we saw the Y93 yesterday. Nonetheless, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 626 with Face Unlock, Notch Display and available in three attractive colors.
Design
It sports a combination of aluminium alloy and polycarbornate, but mainly aluminium. It looks absolutely stunning in my opinion, sporting dual rear shooters at the top left corner with LED flash underneath. While the fingerprint scanner sits in the usual position. The phone measures 7.89mm in thickness, weighs just 149g overall as well and is available in Black, Red and Purple colors.
Display
The Z1 Youth Edition is built around a 6.26-inch FHD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 84.48% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Funtouch 4.0 OS on top. Running the race here is the new Snapdragon 626 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 506 graphics card controls graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Vivo Z1 Youth Edition features dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s another 16MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the Z1 Youth Edition is a 3260mAh battery capacity, there’s support for fast charging here. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
