Lava Z81 is now official guys, the budget-friendly smartphone was just introduced in India with AI Studio Mode for Perfect Pictures. This allows you to make a regular portrait photo more amazing with Studio mode’s professional lighting effects. It also has a new AI Smart Power Battery which uses AI to help manage your battery and make it last longer.
Design
It’s built with mainly Plastic with a Metal frame and looks no different from the affordable smartphones we are typically used to from the company. Although, the Z60s and Z61 weren’t that bad. The phone measures 7.9mm in thickness, weighs just 141g overall as well and is available in only Black.
Display
The Z81 is built around a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 282 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 75.71% screen-to-body as well and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Star OS 5.0 on top. Running the race here is the new Helio A22 chipset from MediaTek, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8300 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 3GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Z81 features a single 13MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s another 13MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the Z81 is a 3000mAh battery capacity, there’s support for fast charging here. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
