Vivo V9 Pro has finally been introduced in India by Vivo after several leaks and rumour. The company previously released a 6GB RAM variant months ago, but decided to make it official and rebrand it yesterday as the V9 Pro. The device comes with a notch, face unlock, 6GB RAM, AI-powered 16MP selfie camera and lots more.
Design
The V9 Pro was built with aluminium alloy and looks absolutely stunning just like the V9. It boasts of dual rear cameras at the top left corner with the LED flash underneath. The device is available in Black color only. When you turn over to the sides, It also measures 7.89mm in thickness as well, and weighs 150g.
Display
The V9 Pro is built around a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD 19:9 notch display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution along with a 400 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 85.56% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch 4.0 OS skin on top. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 512 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 6GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
At the rear, it’s equipped with dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters for all your photography needs and it’s accompanied with other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a single 16MP selfie shooter on the notch as well.
Battery
Powering the V9 Pro up is a 3260mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology to fill it up fast. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
