Koobee S209 has been introduced by Koobee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer who specialises in making flagship smartphones. This is coming a few months after we saw the Koobee F2 and Koobee F2 Plus flagships. The S209 most likely targets those on a budget and boasts of the trendy full view display.
Design
Koobee did it! Have you seen a Plastic back on a phone with gradient colors. The phone sports a metal frame and depends solely on the Face Unlock feature to unlock the device with no fingerprint scanner in sight. It measures 7.9mm in thickness, weighs 179g overall and will be available in gradient Purple and Black colors.
Display
The S209 is built around a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD 18:9 standard display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1512 pixels in resolution along with a 279 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 73.73% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on the latest Android operating system with dido 7.6 screen on top. Under the hood, the MT6750T chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
Take cute photos with the 8MP shooter which is mounted at the back. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a single 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the Koobee S209 is a 3000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
