Fly Mobile just unveiled the Fly Life Compact 4G smartphone. An affordable smartphone that runs on Android OS v8.1 Go Edition (Oreo) out of the box and targets those on a budget. The phone was introduced in Russia and packs 4G LTE connectivity for fast access to the internet.
Design
The device has a stunning plastic design that should be fun to hold and operate. It measures 10mm in thickness and will be available in Black, Champagne and Red colors as well. There’s no fingerprint scanner in sight, as users will have to depend on the pattern unlock.
Display
The affordable smartphone is built around a 5.0-inch TN capacitive touchscreen. The screen boasts of 480 x 960 pixels in resolution along with a 215 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 71.45% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the SC9832E chipset from Spreadtrum sits behind the screen, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1300MHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 8GB internal storage space, this is expandable up to 32GB using a memory card. It boasts of 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Life Compact 4G is equipped with an 8MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a 2MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Fly Life Compact 4G is a 2100mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2 hours.
