itel A22 has been launched by company in India as the latest smartphone with the new Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. The device targets those on a budget or first times users. Lets see what else the phone has to offer.
Design
The itel A22 looks good for a budget-friendly smartphone. It has a sleek looking Plastic body and will be available in Black, Gray and Gold colors. It comes with a single rear camera and a LED flash at the top left corner in a horizontal position. The device measures 9.35mm in thickness as well.
Display
The front is built around a standard 5-inch IPS LCD display with the normal 16:9 aspect ratio screen. The screen has a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels along with a 215 pixel per inch density for clear visuals.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 low-end chip does the number crunching and comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 304 graphics card controls graphics. For storing files, the device packs a 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB with a memory card. It has 1GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with a single 5MP rear camera for photography and accompanied by a LED flash underneath and other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 2MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 2400mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.3 hours.
