Vivo NEX 2 was seen in a video with most of its features and specs revealed. The update of the NEX S and NEX A is still powered by the Snapdragon 845 we saw on its predecessor. But, there’s been new addition to the specs list, the NEX 2 features dual display and triple rear camera. Although there’s no selfie camera, users would have to depend on the triple rear cameras for that as well.
Design
The device was designed with aluminium alloy and furnished with glass on top. The front is totally bezel-less with little to no bezels at all, while there’s a Vivo logo below the rear display and a triple rear camera above, which is surrounded by an attractive ring.
Display
The Nex 2 features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED totally bezel-less display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 86% screen-to-body ratio. There’s another display at the rear to see your face during selfies, a Super AMOLED 5.49-inch with 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Funtouch OS 4.5 on top. Running the race here is the Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.7GHz offering a smooth ride.
The Adreno 630 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 128GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can’t expand using a memory card. It comes with 10GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Vivo NEX 2 is equipped with triple 12MP + 2MP + 0.3MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, you have to use the triple rear camera and see your face at the rear display.
Battery
Powering up the NEX 2 is a 3500mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
