Uniscope P20 was launched in China over the weekend and we got the first Exclusive photos of the smartphone. The P20 is a “military defense smartphone” with waterproof, shatterproof glass and electric tyrant, more of a repellant. This is also the company’s first smartphone with notch display.
Design
The P20 is a rugged smartphone quite alright but it’s not the first rugged smartphone with notch display. With its IP67 Certifications, the P20 can last up to 30 minutes underwater. There’s also a rear fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock feature as well. It’s available in Black and Orange colors on shopping stores.
Display
The P20 was built around a 5.5-inch IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 640 x 1136 pixels in resolution along with a 255 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 79% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box as well. Under the hood, the MT6750T chipset from MediaTek runs the race, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs a 64GB/32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB/3GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Uniscope P20 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the P20 is still a 4000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours.
