Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity is now available for sale on Flipkart, the budget-friendly smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition with 1GB RAM. Some of the highlights of this device is the HD+ full view display and a massive 5000mAh battery that promises almost 40 hours of fair usage. It’s available for just Rs 5,350 about $75, it will be joining the Infinity N12 and N11.
Design
As expected, it has a Plastic body and sports a rear fingerprint scanner. No information was stated about facial recognition though. The device is quite compact but a little bulk to the sides, measureing 10.4mm in thickness and will is available in Lava Red, Rose Gold and Matte Blue.
Display
The Bharat 5 Infinity is built around a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 295 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 72.9% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition operating system out of the box. Under the hood, is the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz offering a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 16GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 32GB using a memory card. It comes with 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Bharat 5 Infinity houses a 5MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the Bharat 5 Infinity is a 5000mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3.5 hours.
