Meizu V8 Pro is the advanced variant of the V8 smartphone which was introduced by Meizu hours ago. The Pro version sports dual rear camera and is powered by the Helio P22 with an octa-core processor. There’s a bigger 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space as well. Lets find out more.
Design
The Meizu V8 Pro was built with metal which is completely different from the Plastic body on the V8. It sports dual rear camera at the rear, with the LED flash on top of it and the fingerprint scanner coming underneath. It will be available in Black and Gold colors only, while measuring 8.1mm in thickness and weighing 159g.
Display
The phone is built around a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD 18:9 full screen display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 282 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 78.44% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P22 chipset from MediaTek runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8320 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It has 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 12MP + 5MP rear shooters for photography and accompanied with other internal features listed in the table below. While for selfies, it sports a 5MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3210mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours.
