Leagoo XRover C has been introduced by Leagoo as the watered-down variant of the first XRover rugged smartphone. More than 90% of the world’s population are living on a tight budget and the OEMs knows that as well. The XRover C is for those who weren’t able to afford the first version released last year. Although this new version has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, most of the specs on its bigger sibling is still retained, like the massive 5000mAh battery and water resistant feature.
Design
The device still has the highest military grade standard with water resistant, according to Leagoo. A combination of Metal, Plastic and Polycarbornate did the trick. There’s also support for Face Unlock and Fingerprint scanner. It measures 14.25mm in thickness, weighs 250g and available in only Black colour.
Display
The XRover C is built around a 5.72-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 281 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 68.22% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with Leagoo OS 3.0. Running the race, is the MT6739V/WW from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz offering a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 16GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. It comes with 2GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Leagoo XRover C houses dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the XRover C is a 5000mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging (5V/1.5A). Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3.5 hours.
