Leagoo T8 is now official, this is coming after the T8s was introduced a couple of months ago. The T8 targets those on a budget with a slightly reduced internal storage and RAM space. Apart from that most of its specs are pretty much the same, it’s powered by the MT6750T chip with an Octa-core processor.
Design
The device was designed with both Plastic and Metal looking absolutely stunning and beautiful. The dual rear camera starts a vertical train at the top followed by the fingerprint scanner underneath. It measures 8.5mm in thickness, weighs 160g overall and will be available in Gray and Champagne colors.
Display
The T8 is still built around the same 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution along with a 401 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 74.32% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Leagoo OS 4.0 on top. Running the race here is the MT6750T chipset from MediaTek, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics card controls graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space variants which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 2GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Leagoo T8 is equipped with dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the T8 is a 3080mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
