Honor has introduced the Honor 8A Pro in Russia as the upgraded variant of the Honor Play 8A budget-friendly smartphone, we exclusively reported months ago.
The Pro comes with lots of upgraded features and a little bump up in price, Honor also removed Play from the name. Firstly, it sports a rear fingerprint scanner, which was obviously missing on its predecessor.
It’s also equipped with Triple SIM slots and an Offline Screen (always-on display). Apart from that, everything is still the same, it’s still powered by the Helio P35 Octa-core processor, however, it’s only available in 3GB/64GB storage combination.
The smartphone will be available in only Black and Blue colors this time around, meaning the Gold version didn’t make it to the Pro. It sports a 13MP rear camera, 8MP selfie, built around a 6.09″ HD+ display and powered by a 3020mAh battery. It’s priced at 13,499 Rubles ($209).
