HiSense H12 Pro has been launched as the upgraded variant of the H12 smartphone we reviewed earlier. The Pro version sports a smaller notch and a bigger storage space compared to what we saw on the H12. Although, it looks like the screen and battery has been reduced further.
Design
The H12 Pro looks almost identical to the H12 with similar rear features like the Metal body and rear fingerprint scanner. We can also see the dual rear camera in a vertical position at the top left corner, while the LED flash follows underneath. It measures just 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs just 155g overall. It will be available in Blue, Black and Gold colors as well.
Display
The phone is built around a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 notched display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution along with a 391 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 81.38% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 636 chipset from Qualcomm runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 1.8GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 509 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB with a memory card. It has 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 12MP + 5MP rear camera with autofocus for photography and accompanied with other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 20MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
