Google Pixel 3 has finally been launched by Google, according to the unboxing video below, the Pixel 3 flagship is equipped with dual selfie camera and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It sports a bigger display compared to its predecessor the Pixel 2. It will be in competition with the iPhone XS and iPhone XR.
Design
As expected, the device was designed with aluminum alloy and glass. There’s no major upgrade in terms of design tho, it still supports wireless charging and sports a rear fingerprint sensor. It measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs just 148g overall. It will be available in Black, White and Not pink colors as well.
Display
The new smartphone is built around a 5.5-inch FHD+ P-OLED full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 439 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 78.87% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 630 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB/128GB internal storage space variants which are not expandable with a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Pixel 3 is equipped with a single 12.2MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a dual 8MP + 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Google Pixel 3 is a 2915mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
