The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro comes with an Aluminum body and its sides are made of glass, its front and back glass is separated by the aluminum 7000 series. Its fingerprint sensor is embedded under the display like the Explorer Edition. It also comes in the same transparent back panel as the Explorer’s which reveals the inner part of the smartphone. While the Mi 8 Lite comes with an aluminium body, it has a glass back panel and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro weighs 177g while the Mi 8 Lite weighs less at 169g.
