Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro was introduced alongside the Eluga X1 smartphone we reviewed earlier. The Pro version looks exactly like the X1 and comes with infrared Face Unlock lens beside the selfie camera which unlocks the phone at the glance of your face. It comes with bigger RAM and Storage space and also supports wireless charging, making it the first smartphone from Panasonic with such feature. We can also call it an upgrade to the Eluga Y Pro.
Design
The device was designed with stainless steel just like the X1 and looks absolutely stunning. The cameras are positioned at the top left corner in a horizontal position, while the alternate fingerprint scanner sits in its usual position. It measures 7.85mm in thickness and weighs 195g overall. It’s available in Gray and Silver colors as well.
Display
The Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro is built around a 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2246 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 82.5% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P60 chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G72 MP3 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 128GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 6GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 16MP + 5MP shooters at the rear. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a single 16MP selfie shooter for all your selfies with AI infrared Face Unlock as well.
Battery
Powering up the Eluga X1 Pro is a 3000mAh battery capacity with fast and wireless charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
