After Introducing its first smartphone with notch display tagged R3 Note weeks ago and followed up with the Lava Z92. Lava Mobile is back with another beauty, the Lava R5 was introduced today in India and would be hitting the stores in the next few days.
As expected, the device is built around a 6.22″ HD+ notch display, making it the third device from Lava with the trending notch. It’s powered by the MT6762 Helio P22 chipset which breathes the AI-advanced dual-camera photography prowess to the 13MP + 5MP rear shooters.
There’s a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and portrait lighting for selfies. The device was designed with Plastic 3D glossy finish. Dimensions are 159.8 x 75.1 x 7.77 mm with a 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB storage combination.
The battery capacity is a moderate 3260mAh, however, it supports 10w fast charging technology. It was introduced in Gloss Black and Neon Purple colours, price starts from Rs 14,299 ($199)
