Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design is the premium and exquisite version of the Mate 20 flagship series. The phone was designed in collaboration with Porsche as a luxury smartphone for the rich. At a starting price of €1,599 (about $1,999), the Mate 20 RS Porsche Design is more than a luxury smartphone. It will be joining the Mate 20, Mate 20 X and Mate 20 Pro on shopping stores.
Design
The device sports an aluminum and leather mixed body with glass. It looks really exquisite and premium while sporting the same triple rear camera we saw on its siblings. It measures 9.7mm in thickness and weighs 187g overall, it’s only available in Black and Red colors as well.
Display
The Mate 20 RS Porsche Design sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED notch display. The screen boasts of 1440 x 3120 pixels in resolution along with a 538 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 87.9% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box with EMUI 9.0 on top. Under the hood, the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset from Huawei runs the race, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.6GHz for a smooth ride.
The Mali-G76 MP10 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 256GB/512GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 8GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design is equipped with triple 40MP + 20MP + 8MP rear shooters for photography. The camera is accompanied by a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s a 24MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Mate 20 RS Porsche Design is a 4200mAh battery capacity with fast and wireless charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
