Xiaomi is a Chinese phone manufacturer that has been in the race for a while now. The company is known for their mid-range devices with very high specs. Redmi was originally their entry-level brand, though now it seems they want to build its own flagship brands too.
The Redmi pro 2 seems to be one of these flagships. As was seen in the leaked photo, then phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 and has a pop-up camera, which leaves it with an holeless screen. Something similar to this was recently seen in the hands of the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun.
Also, according to the image seen, the phone will feature an on-screen fingerprint scanner, which is a first from Redmi. Previous leak news seems to point to the fact that one of the rear camera will be 48MP similar to that of Redmi Note 7. However, the image reveals that the device will feature a triple rear camera, which will also be a first for Redmi.
These fancy features might mean the new Redmi will be slightly more expensive than the Pocophone F1. But who knows, Xiaomi is full of surprises.
