Xiaomi Mi 9 and Poco F2 Leaks Ahead Of Launch In Official Press Renders

Xiaomi’s 2019 flagship is currently in the works and a lot of information have been popping up these past few weeks. Now, we have a clue of what the Mi 9 will probably look like. Going by the first official render of the device by @venyageskin1, the flagship will have a smaller notch compared to its predecessor.

As expected, the device sports triple rear camera, one of which is the exact 48MP shooter seen on the Redmi Note 7. According to reports, it will be designed by Mi Liu, who will incorporate aluminum alloy and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass.

Although it will have a few identical specs with the Mi 8, like the USB Type C, no 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and Super AMOLED display. But according to the official render, the device features the trendy in-display fingerprint reader seen on the Mi 8 Pro.

Of course, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 855 and Adreno 640 GPU. This is the same chipset we saw on the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT we reported weeks ago.

The Pocophone F2 will also be powered by this same chipset, even though the details of the device is still a bit sketchy. However, unlike the Mi 9, the Poco F2 will be built around a waterdrop notch, just like the Mi Play. The Mi 9 will be introduced after the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, while the Poco F2 will debut in Q2.
