Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi introduced another flagship smartphone from their collection, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G. This one features a 5G network. Though it’s not too different in specs compared to the previous model Mi Mix 3.
Although it comes with the new Snapdragon 855 chipset and Qualcomm’s 5G modem. The phone is expected to enter the market by May with a starting price of around $679/£599. It’s expected to ship with Android 9 Pie, 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal memory.
The display will be awesome as it’s expected to have a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with resolution as high as 1080 x 2034 pixels, thanks to the FHD solution from Samsung.
For those in Europe, Xiaomi will partner with telecom operators like Orange, Sunrise, Vodafone etc. to provide 5G connection to users, though we don’t know their plans for the US yet. The phone itself was unveiled and showcased at the Mobile World Congress next week.
