Wigor V5 has been launched as a rugged smartphone with notch display, the device was presented in Russia and will be available for sale immediately. As a rugged smartphone, it boasts of IP68 Certifications with dual rear camera and powered by the Helio P23 mid-range chipset. There’s 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, support for NFC as well as face unlock and a massive 4400mAh battery.
Design
Polycarbornate and rubber were used to make this device strong enough, it can stay underwater for up to 30 minutes, perfect for underwater selfies. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner just incase you don’t like the idea of face unlock. It looks pretty much like the Ulefone Armor 6, measuring 12.6mm in thickness, weighing 236 overall and will be available in only Blue.
Display
The Wigor V5 is built around a 5.85-inch HD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1512 pixels in resolution along with a 286 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 71.47% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Orep operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P23 chipset from MediaTek comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz offering a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 64GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. It comes with 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Wigor V5 houses dual 16MP + 0.3MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 13MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Battery
Powering up the V5 is a 4400mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.7 hours.
