Vivo Y95 has been introduced in Philippines as the device popped up on the company’s official store in the country. The Y95 looks like a very affordable device from the waterdrop saga, it’s an upgrade to the Y93 and a downgrade to the Y97. Even though it’s very affordable, it’s equipped with trendy Face Unlock, Google Lens, AI Game Mode and Jovi Smart Scene as your virtual personal assistant.
Design
It looks absolutely stunning, but that doesn’t take away the fact that it was made from Plastic. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner just incase you’re not a fan of Face Unlock. Furthermore, it has dual rear camera at the top left corner. It measures 8.28mm in thickness, weighs 163g overall and will be available in Black and Red colors.
Display
The Y95 sports a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1520 pixels in resolution along with a 270 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 83.18% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Funtouch 4.5 OS on top. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 439 chipset from Qualcomm is in control, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.95GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 505 graphics card is in control of everything graphics. The phone boasts of a 64GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space, this can be used to multitask through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Vivo Y95 comes with dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera for all your photographs. The camera is equipped with a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 20MP selfie shooter that has its own notch.
Battery
Powering up the Y95 is a 4030mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours tops.
