Vivo Apex 2019 concept phone has finally been announced by Vivo. The device comes with a totally closed up body, there’s no 3.5mm jack, usb port or SIM tray. Although it doesn’t support wireless charging, it uses MagPort, an all-in-one magnetic port introduced by Vivo, which will be used for charging and data transfer. This reminds us of the Meizu Zero which was introduced a couple of days ago. Is 2019 a year for hole-less phones?
Design
The device was designed with aluminium alloy + glass. Sporting dual rear cameras at the top middle with the LED flash sitting underneath. It also uses a pressure-sensing tech to replace the standard power and volume buttons on the sides. You can also use the smartphone by touching any part of the screen.
Display
The Apex 2019 features a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2316 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 86% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. Running the race, is the Snapdragon 855 chip from Qualcomm which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.8GHz offering a smooth ride.
The Adreno 640 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 128GB/256GB internal storage space for storing your files. It comes with 12GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Vivo Apex 2019 houses dual 12MP + 13MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below.
Battery
Powering up the Apex 2019 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
