ZTE is preparing a new smartphone after fighting restrictions from the United States. Not much is known about this device though, however, a new ZTE smartphone with codename V1000 has been sent to TENAA for certification.
We previously reported about the Visible R2 the company introduced in the United States a couple of days ago through the Visible network, marking its comeback to the North American country.
New details about the V1000 has been revealed, the device will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset. According to the TENAA certification, the 8-cores processor on the device clocks at 42.1GHz & 42GHz, only the Helio P70 has such clock speed.
This means the graphics processor will be the Arm G72-MP3 with 2-cores clocking at 900MHz. The device measures 158×75.8×7.5 mm in thickness, weighs 154g and is built around a 6.3-inch FHD+ 2280×1080 water-drop display.
Battery capacity is pegged at 3100mAh, while the dual rear camera is a 16MP + 5MP shooters. The waterdrop notch should house a new 32MP selfie shooter, similar to the one on the Vivo V15 Pro. There would be 4GB/64GB & 6GB/128GB storage variant, while the operating system is Android 9 Pie. All will be unveiled at the MWC 2019.
