Umidigi S3 Pro has been teased in the video below with most of its specs revealed by the company. The device isn’t the company’s first trial at the waterdrop notch display though, the Umidigi One Max holds that title and it’s already available on shopping stores. The S3 Pro is powered by the Helio P70 and a massive 5150mAh battery, according to the video.
Design
The device sports a metal frame and a plastic back that looks quite plain and simple. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner, this means Umidigi isn’t ready for the in-display fingerprint scanner even though Leagoo has done it with the S10. It measures 8.5mm in thickness and was teased in only Black.
Display
The S3 Pro is built around a 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD waterdrop display. The screen boasts of 2340 x 1080 pixels in resolution along with a 402 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 86% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box as well. Under the hood, the Helio P70 from MediaTek is still in total control, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G72 MP4 graphics card is in control of everything graphics. The phone packs 128GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 8GB RAM space, this can be used to multitask through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Umidigi S3 Pro features dual 48MP + 12MP rear camera for taking photographs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 20MP selfie shooter on top of the notch.
Battery
Powering up the S3 Pro is a 5150mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.3 hours tops.
