Ulefone Armor X2 has been launched by Ulefone as the latest budget-friendly rugged smartphone. It’s probably one of the cheapest smartphone with NFC, the rugged device is IP68 certified, making it dust and water resistant as well. Furthermore, it’s powered by a massive 5500mAh battery which has a 20 hours talktime. It will be joining the Armor 6 and 3T on shopping stores.
Design
The device was made from Metal, Polycarbonate and Thermoplastic Polyurethane, making it as rugged as they come. The dual rear camera are separately mounted at the top middle, while the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the side. It measures 13.9mm in thickness, weighs 256g and it’s available in Gray and Rose-gold colors only.
Display
The Armor X2 is built around a 5.5-inch IPS LCD standard display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 293 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 62.72% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box as well. Running the race here is the MT6580 chip from MediaTek which does the job, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G51 graphics card is in control of everything graphics. The phone is loaded with a 16GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 2GB RAM space, this can be used to multitask through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Ulefone Armor X2 is equipped with dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera for taking photographs. The camera is equipped with a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the Armor X2 is a 5500mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 4 hours tops.
