Ulefone Armor 6 has been unveiled at the Global Sources Electronics Show (GSES) alongside the Ulefone T2 we reviewed days ago. At the Ulefone’s booth, we were able to see the company’s latest smartphones all showcased for fans to have a look. This is an upgrade to the Ulefone Armor 5 we reviewed weeks ago, which was the first Rugged smartphone with notch display. The Armor 6 is another rugged smartphone with a notch as well, it will be joining the Ulefone Armor 3T, Ulefone S1 and Ulefone S1 Pro on shopping stores.
Design
It’s built with aluminium alloy overall unibody and a little bit of metal by the sides to keep it locked in. The dual rear camera are vertical at the top middle, with the fingerprint scanner following closely underneath. It was unveiled in Black, no words if other colors will be rolled out as well. Its IP68 certified body offers dust and water resistant.
Display
The Armor 6 is built around a 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2280 pixels in resolution along with a 407 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 78% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P60 chipset from MediaTek runs the race, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G72 MP3 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 128GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 6GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Ulefone Armor 6 features dual 21MP + 13MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s a single 16MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Armor 6 is a 4900mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 3 hours.
