TP-Link will announce new Neffos phones with waterdrop notch at MWC

TP-Link has been teasing the new upcoming X Neffos smartphones for a while now, however, more details has emerged. The devices will be known as X20 and X20 Pro and they will both be unveiled at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

Apart from their names, the phone’s images have also been leaked from the company. Although the specs hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the X20 and X20 Pro are rumoured to be built around the same 6.26-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 ratio.

Internally, the devices should be powered by the Helio A22 with AI. However, it’s obvious the X20 will ship with 3GB/32GB internal storage space, while the Pro version should come with 4GB/64GB.

Powering up the device is a 4100mAh battery, while running on Android 9 Pie with NFUI 9.0 on top. The X20 comes with 13MP + 2MP rear cameras, while the Pro version has 16MP + 5MP. The selfies on both devices are pegged at 16MP with f/2.0 aperture.

Thanks to the A22 AI chipset, the cameras will support bokeh effect and AI beauty mode while using the deep learning and Artificial Intelligence to improve the facial features of the subject, including Scene Detection. The price will be unveiled in Barcelona, alongside the devices.
