The Tambo TA 55 is one of the new smartphones from Tambo with a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone manufacturer recently started dishing out a fingerprint scanner with massive battery capacity smartphones. Tambo mobile smartphones has always been targeted at those with low budget and the TA 55 is very affordable with impressive features. It will be competing with the Tecno Spark 2, Infinix Smart 2 and iTel S13.
Design
This device is built with plastic. It has an antenna line that strips on the bottom and top of the panel with a curved edge. Tambo TA 55 also has a smooth panel that houses the fingerprint scanner. It measures 9.15mm slim and weighs 162.2g and it’s available in Champagne and Black colors as well.
Display
The new smartphone is built around a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen boasts of 640 x 1280 pixels in resolution along with a 268 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 78% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Under the hood, the MT6580A chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 64GB using a memory card. It boasts of 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Tambo TA 55 is equipped with a 8MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s another 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the TA 55 is a 4000mAh battery capacity but it doesn’t charge fast.
