Sony Xperia XA3 is on its way, the phone’s photos and full specifications has been leaked in full by popular leakstar @ONLeaks. The XA3 sports a full view display with a unique placed dual rear shooters at the back. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. This is coming just weeks after the Sony Xperia XZ3 flagship smartphone was introduced as well.
Design
The dual rear shooters are horizontal at the top middle, which is quite different from what we typically see from most OEMs. Even though there’s no fingerprint scanner in sight, it’s rumoured to be by the side, you can also use the Face Unlock feature as well. It measures 8.4mm in thickness and will be available in Black, Silver, Pink and Blue colors.
Display
The XA3 is built around a 5.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 409 pixel per inch density for extremely sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 84.75% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 512 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The smartphone is equipped with dual 23MP + 5MP shooters at the rear. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a single 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the Xperia XA3 is a 3600mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
