Samsung has announced its intentions to introduce the crypto features that debuted with the Galaxy S10 series to its upcoming budget Galaxy phones.
According to CoinDesk, the company made it known through a press release released by Business Korea, where the company has its headquarters.
Samsung also ascertained that its digital wallet app will now be available even on lower-cost models that will be introduced from now. This should further expand the crypto features to more jurisdictions.
In a bid to expand the number of Galaxy models that support blockchain functions, senior managing director of the product strategy team at Samsung Electronics, Chae Won-cheol also revealed that the tech giant recently invested around $3 million in cryptocurrency wallet startup Ledger.
