Samsung W2019 has popped up on Samsung’s official website with dual display and Snapdragon 845. The W2019 is a futuristic smartphone and is expected to be available first in China. It comes with dial pad and hardware navigation keys, it sports the same dual rear camera we saw on the Galaxy S9 Plus. There’s a massive 6GB RAM space available here, lets find out more.
Design
An absolute piece of art, the W2019 is a stunner quite alright. It has a dedicated Bixby button by the side, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The rear exudes of premium materials like anodized, diamond-cut aluminum and glass. It measures 17.3mm in thickness, weighs 257g overall and is available in only Silver and Gold.
Display
The A9 is built around a 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display, for your viewing pleasure. The screen boasts of 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution along with a 525 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 57.9% screen-to-body ratio. There’s another 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display at the rear with 1080 x 1920 pixels as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm is in charge here, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.8GHz for a smooth ride.
The Qualcomm Adreno 630 graphics card handles everything graphics. The W2019 boasts of 128GB/256GB internal storage space variants for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 500GB using a memory card. The phone has 6GB RAM space available for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Samsung W2019 is equipped with dual 12MP + 12MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the W2019 is a moderate 3070mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging as well. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.7 hours.
