Redmi has been teasing the Note 8 series for quite a while now, although the Note 8 Pro has now been confirmed to come with the new Helio G90T from MediaTek, more information has surfaced for the Redmi Note 8.
The Note 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 665, which brings about 5% improvement when compared to the 660 on the Note 7. Apart from that it’s now evident the Note 8 will look completely different from the Note 8 Pro which looks similar to the Redmi K20.
Furthermore, the device sport four cameras just like the pro version, however, they are all lined up at the top left corner, one of those will be a 48MP sensor, instead of the 64MP on the Pro version. After the release of direct competitor, the Realme 5 and 5 Pro, Redmi has to bring it with the Note 8 series, if they want to dominate in India.
