RED Hydrogen One has officially made its way to Verizon and retails for $1,295 or you can opt for the monthly payment of $53.95 for 24 months. That’s more expensive than the iPhone XS Max. The Hydrogen One is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chip and features four cameras for photography.

It comes with Holographic 4-View (H4V) capture, which produces beautiful lighting effects with dynamic textures, glitters and light shafts. It’s also loaded with the HYDROGEN Network which has the latest 4-View games, music videos and films.

Design

RED Hydrogen One

It doesn’t look like your average smartphone quite alright. The phone was made from aluminum with durable carbon fiber and intuitive, functional RED-designed sides and controls. It measures 10mm in thickness, weighs 263g overrall and will be available in Black, Shadow and Titanium colors only.

Display

The Hydrogen One is built around a 5.7-inch 3D LTPS IPS LCD display. The screen boasts of 1440 x 2560 pixels in resolution along with a 515 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 63.4% screen-to-body ratio as well.

Software and Hardware

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box probably with stock Android. Running the race here is the Snapdragon 835 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.35GHz for a smooth ride.

The Adreno 40 graphics card takes care of graphics in the graphics department. For storing up your files, the Hydrogen One packs 128GB/256GB internal storage space variants which is expandable up to 512GB using a memory card. It boasts of 6GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.

The RED Hydrogen One features dual 12.3MP + 12.3MP rear camera for photography. With autofocus, depth sensor, LED flash, phase detection and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, it’s equipped with dual 8.3MP + 8.3MP selfie shooters for all your selfies.

Battery

Powering up the Hydrogen One is a 4500mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.2 hours or more, it depends.
