Panasonic has officially announced the introduction of the Panasonic Eluga Ray 530, a budget-friendly smartphone with trendy features. The device is finally here with Face Unlock, Full View Display, 13MP rear camera and other attractive features for those on a budget. The device was introduced in India and retails for just a token. It will be joining the Panasonic Eluga Ray 600 and Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro on shopping stores.
Design
The Eluga Ray 530 has a plastic body that’s absolutely quite gradient and beautiful. This device has a rear fingerprint scanner and also a Face Unlock feature, so you can always choose the one you want. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 141g, it is available in Black and Blue color as well.
Display
The Ray 530 is built around a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 282 pixel per inch density for clear visuals Overall, the screen stretches up to 76.47% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739WA chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 530 is equipped with a 13MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Eluga Ray 530 is a 3000mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.3 hours.
