Oppo RX17 Pro is now officially available for sale in Italy, the device is a rebranded R17 Pro, targeting the Europe market. Even though it made it’s first European debut in Italy, it will be available in France, Spain, and the Netherlands as well. The RX17 Pro is equipped with triple rear camera, in-display fingerprint scanner, water-drop notch display, 8GB RAM and the new Snapdragon 710 chip.
Design
The phone sports an aluminium alloy just like the R17 Pro, with no major changes in design. It gives off a gradient feel when held in close contact with light. The triple rear camera are vertically mounted at the top middle. It measures 7.9 mm in thickness, weighs 183g overall and will be available in only Stream Blue color.
Display
The RX17 Pro features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED water-drop display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 402 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 85.9% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Color OS 5.2 skin on top. Sitting behind the screen is the Snapdragon 710 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 616 graphics card takes care of graphics in the graphics department. For storing up your files, the RX17 Pro packs the same 128GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. You get a bigger 8GB RAM space here for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Oppo RX17 Pro gets a triple 16MP + 20MP + 0.3MP rear camera mounted at the rear for photography. The third camera is a TOF 3D stereo camera which acts as the depth sensor plus other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, it’s equipped with a 25MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the RX17 Pro is a 3700mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3 hours.
